In order to ensure security, this traditional independent system platform method basically corresponds to one server for one application system. If two applications are configured on one server, it may cause business conflicts, or one application may go down due to business needs or Malfunctions such as viruses cause all applications to stop. In order to adopt the dual-machine hot standby system with application system continuity, one server needs to be idle as the standby server.


Gooxi scheme design

After carefully analyzing user needs and the entire business process, Gooxi designs a complete solution. The topology of the solution is as follows:



Program overview

Two Gooxi SY312-S24R servers are used as virtual machine servers. VMware ESX Server virtual machine software is installed on the bare metal, and the virtual machines are deployed on the two servers respectively.
One SY103-S06R is used as a virtual machine management server, mail server, and security management server, and VMware VirtualCenter is installed to manage all virtual machine servers and virtual machines.
The storage adopts ST401-S60R, which is used to store virtual machine files. It is fully equipped with hard disks and supports a maximum of 240TB. Two virtual machine servers are connected to FC-SAN storage through HBA cards.
1)Virtual machine files are placed on SAN storage
Due to the file encapsulation feature of the virtual machine, the virtual machine is a physical file. The virtual machine can be started from the SAN, which can maximize the use of storage device space, and ensure that when the server fails, the virtual machine can be quickly started from other servers.
2)Realize dual-machine hot backup between virtual machines
24 virtual machines run on each GOOXI SY312-S24R micro-blade server virtual machine server, 12 virtual machines use MSCS as HA, 24 virtual machines of each virtual machine server are used as production virtual machine servers, and the remaining 24 virtual machines The machine is another GOOXI SY312-S24R virtual machine server running 24 Standby production virtual machine server VMs. Configuring MSCS between virtual machines ensures the continuity of application services.
3)Configure VMotion/HA/DRS on two virtual machine servers
Configure HA/DRS between two virtual machine servers. VMotion can realize dynamic migration of virtual machines between hosts. HA can ensure that when a virtual machine fails, the virtual machine on the host will automatically restart on the other host. DRS Two virtual machine servers can be load balanced.
4)Virtual machine access control
The virtual machine management server can centrally manage all virtual machines and virtual machine physical servers, and can also implement functions such as access control, dynamic resource management, and template making, which will bring effective help to administrators in IT management.
5)Smart Eye remote management
All Gooxi servers can use the IPMI system, which can realize remote switching of machines and facilitate user management.
6)Storage path redundancy
The key elements to realize storage system path redundancy:
◆Double servers, each server is equipped with dual HBA cards;
◆Double fiber optic switch;
◆The storage device requires dual controllers;
The storage system of this solution adopts dual-link data redundancy. Each server is configured with two HBA cards, which are respectively connected to two fiber optic switches. When an HBA card, a fiber optic cable or a switch fails, the storage system is guaranteed works fine. The storage device is a dual RAID controller. When a controller fails, the client user can access the storage through the other controller.

Gooxi SY103- S06R micro-blade server barebones is a high-density server product (Micro-Cloud Server). This design supports hot-swappable 3 server nodes in a 1U chassis height, and each server node system can be used independently. Storage system (Gooxi ST401-S60R storage server)
Gooxi ST401-S60R is a large-capacity, low-power, high-density storage product, suitable for big data storage, cloud storage, video surveillance network storage and NAS storage.
The system hardware is composed of three modules, which are hard disk module, main board module and power supply module. The three modules adopt hot-swappable design, which greatly reduces the cost of manual maintenance of equipment. The more distinctive design is in the height of 4U chassis. Realize the hot swap of 60 hard disks as a whole module, pull out the 60 hard disk modules as a whole under the working state of the system, the system can run normally, and each hard disk can be replaced without tools, thus solving the problem in the industry that the system needs to be powered off and restarted Open the top cover to replace the hard disk.
